Vehicle Overview
This 2004 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 is an LS 4x4 example that has been modified with a revised ECU map, an aftermarket dual exhaust system, and throttle body spacers as well as a 4? suspension lift, Bilstein shocks, a steering stabilizer, and 18? Weld Racing wheels mounted with 37? Falken tires. Power is provided by a 5.3-liter V8 linked to a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case, and it is finished in Silver Birch Metallic over Tan leather upholstery. Equipment includes a receiver hitch, running boards, fog lights, roof rails, a third-row bench, a Bose sound system, cruise control, and climate control with separate rear-seat controls.
The exterior is finished in Silver Birch Metallic with chrome-accented bumpers and bodyside moldings. Exterior details include a hood deflector, fog lights, roof rails, running boards, a rear liftgate, a receiver hitch, a trailer wiring harness, and power-adjustable heated side mirrors with ground illumination. Various lighting elements were replaced in preparation for the sale along with the grille and front bumper cover.
The six-spoke 18? Weld Racing wheels are mounted with 37x12.50? Falken Wildpeak A/T tires. An approximately 4? suspension lift kit was installed under previous ownership, while a 1.5? rear coil spring spacer kit, a leveling kit, and Bilstein 5100-series shocks at all four corners have been added since 2022. The truck is further equipped with a steering stabilizer kit, a Fabtech sway bar bushing kit, and StabiliTrak traction control. The steering system was overhauled and the torsion bar and control arms were replaced following the selling dealer's acquisition in 2022. Red-finished Wilwood brake calipers paired with cross-drilled and slotted discs were fitted at each corner in January 2024 along with stainless-steel brake hoses. The parking brake shoes were replaced in January 2024.
The power-adjustable front bucket seats are upholstered in tan leather that extends to the rear benches. Color-coordinated all-weather floor mats line the footwells, and amenities include power-operated windows and locks, driver seat position memory, cruise control, dual-zone climate control, and a Bose sound system connected to a factory CD stereo with rear-seat audio controls.
The 5.3-liter V8 was fitted with a revised ECU map, an aftermarket dual exhaust system, and throttle body spacers under previous ownership. The battery was replaced and an oil change was carried out in preparation for the sale. The truck failed its most recent California emissions test in August 2023 and cannot currently pass.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and an electronically-controlled dual-range transfer case. The front-right half-shaft was replaced in February 2022, the front-left half-shaft was replaced in April 2023, a front axle flange was replaced in October 2023, and a rear U joint was replaced in January 2024. Corrosion is visible on underside components.
